Island Fudge
Mackinac Island is also known as Fudge Capital of the world. There are 7 fudge businesses with 13 different storefronts on the island, with so much being made that the island imports around 10 tons of sugar per week. While all the fudge shops are open during the busy summer months, there are 3 different shops available to customers year-round. The shops will make the fudge in their shops all day, giving tourists the opportunity to watch the amazing process. With there being multiple shops on the island, there is a wide variety of flavors so there is sure to be something for everyone. Some of these flavors include Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Peppermint, Cherry Cheesecake, Rocky Road, Dark Chocolate, Peanut Butter Cup Swirl, etc.
